​These are "out-of-the-box" tape sensors from the SPDL store.

They were mounted in a kite pattern onto the base of the robot as shown to the right. Each of the purple boxes indicate one tape sensor. They hovered at approximately 0.1" off the ground.

Limit Switch

The limit switch works similarly to a momentary push button. Its default is to be connected to ground, but when pushed it goes high.
